Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Palmaffy CPR, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. To ensure fairness to all students and instructors while maintaining class availability, the following Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy applies to all course registrations unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 7 or More Days Before Class

Students who cancel at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled class start time are eligible for a full refund of tuition paid, less any non-refundable third-party processing fees, if applicable.

Cancellations 3–6 Days Before Class

Students who cancel between 3 and 6 calendar days before the scheduled class are not eligible for a refund, but may receive a course credit equal to the tuition paid. Course credits must be used within 12 months of the original class date and are non-transferable.

Cancellations Within 72 Hours or No-Shows

Students who cancel less than 72 hours before class, fail to attend, or arrive too late to participate are considered no-shows. No refund or course credit will be issued.

Rescheduling Policy

Students may request to reschedule their class prior to the scheduled course date, subject to instructor availability.

A $30 rescheduling fee applies each time a student reschedules a course.

Reschedule Insurance

Students may purchase Reschedule Insurance during their initial course registration for $10.

If Reschedule Insurance was purchased:

• Student may reschedule their registration as many times as necessary.

• The reschedule must still be requested before the scheduled class.

• The new class is subject to availability.

• If the new class has a higher tuition or required material cost, the student is responsible for paying the difference.

Reschedule Insurance:

• Must be purchased during the original registration.

• Cannot be added after registration.

• Is non-refundable.

• Is non-transferable.

• Applies only to the original registrant and original course registration.

Course Transfers

Course transfers between different course types may require payment of any difference in tuition, certification fees, or required materials.

Instructor Cancellations

If Palmaffy CPR cancels a class due to instructor illness, weather, facility issues, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, students may choose either:

• A full refund; or

• Transfer to another available class at no additional cost.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.
